IEBS , the leading digital business school in online training, has started a new call, almost doubling the number of enrolled students, making clear the consolidation of elearning in the market as a consequence of the pandemic. Specifically, the business school has registered up to 80% more enrollment than last year. The collateral damage of the coronavirus, which prevents face-to-face cles from continuing, has caused many students and professionals who previously did not consider online training to now see it as the best solution to their needs. Furthermore, the quarantine experience has prompted those more accustomed to the traditional model to lose their fear and decide on this type of training. All of these circumstances have been reflected in the overall number of registrations for the 20-21 academic year, which have increased by almost 80%.
In Spain this increase has been 72%, while internationally the countries with the greatest increase in the number of enrollments have been Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay and Chile with growth of over 100%, followed by Email Data Mexico with 87% and Argentina with 71% The degrees that have had the greatest growth are those that have to do with the current situation and the new digital professions. The most in demand being Data Scientist, Agile Coach, Digital Project Manager, Digital Marketing and Digital Transformation of Organizations, which in some cases have tripled the number of enrollments. According to Óscar Fuente, founder of IEBS, “Teleworking and the increase in digital habits have made many more students and professionals trust the online formula.
Despite the increase in the offer of online master's degrees in the market, students have been able to differentiate between methodologies designed to be taken online and telepresence. The benefits offered by a degree specifically created to be completed online are notable for the student, as it allows them to make the most of the knowledge received.” Since its creation in 2010, IEBS has managed to maintain sustained growth of 35% annually on average, which has led it to be one of the online business schools that trains the most students in Spain. Furthermore, to successfully face this new situation and avoid leaving without a place all those who want to continue training, on November 26, a new special call will be opened for those online masters that are being most in demand.
